🌟 Reflecting on a Fantastic Term 1 🌟
As Term 1 wraps up, we’re filled with gratitude and pride for the growth and achievements of our tamariki. From hands-on cultural experiences in Hōtaka Whakāihiihi—like diving, weaving, carving, and fishing—to standout student leadership from our Year 7 & 8s, this term has truly been one to remember.
Our tamariki continue to shine in the classroom and beyond, taking part in drama, interschool sports, house challenges, Whakanomics, and our weekly hui-a-kura celebrations. Attendance and engagement are up—and it shows!
We’re especially proud of the connections we’ve strengthened through noho marae at Tūhourangi ki Otukawa, pōhiri at Whakarewarewa, and our ongoing collaboration with Kāhui o Matawhaura ki Tarawera.
