Whānau

Homework

Homework is given out regularly to reinforce concepts already covered at Kura and to develop patterns of independent study. You should expect homework on a daily and weekly basis.

Reports

In Term One, parents are invited to attend an Oku Rangatiratanga visit. This is an opportunity to visit their child's class for an informal chat with the teacher.

Written reports are sent home in Terms Two and Four. Information about your son/daughter's achievement is sent home via student profiles. We do practice an open door policy so you are more than welcome to come to school and visit with the teacher and/or arrange to see the Tumuaki.

Whānau Involvement

Te Kura o Te Whakarewarewa belongs to us all. We rely on whānau to support us in camps and general activities both in and outside of the classroom.

Together we can reach our goal of creating an environment and community that fosters learning.
