Our Mission

"Kia ū ki te pai" - Hold fast to that which is good

Ngā Uaratanga / Our Values

Pride - Mana

Respect - Whakaute

Empathy - Aroha

Honesty - Tika me te pono

E ngā reo, e ngā mana, tēnā koutou katoa.

Tēnā koutou i raro i ngā manaakitanga o te runga rawa. Nau mai ki tō tātou nei kura. Ko tētahi wāhi e whai ake ana i te mātauranga i roto i to tātou reo Māori, ko tētahi whai ka whai i nga tikanga mātauranga i roto i te reo Pākehā. Ko ngā taitamariki e whai atu rātou i te mātauranga i roto i ngā reo e rua.

Kia ora, welcome to Whakarewarewa School, website.

  • English Medium - Individual student progress focuses on reading, writing and mathematics in years 1 - 8.

Both pathways follow the New Zealand Curriculum as well as the Māori Medium Curriculum, Te Marautanga o Aotearoa which provides the guidelines for eight curriculum areas at all levels of schooling.
